Clear Moon
A poem I wrote while I was staring out the window at night. Even though I wrote it, I'm not very sure if it's a sonnet or not. It looks like one.

It most certainly is a sonnet. Shakespearean sonnet to be precise. 14 lines broken into 3 quatrains and 1 couplet...ABAB CDCD EFEF GG rhyme scheme...roughly 10 syllables per line. In today's writing world it is not necessary that a Shakespearean sonnet be written in iambic pentameter. |
