Heather Smith I am 13 and this is how if fell about not being able to get a job and what adults say about it.
People tell is to have fun while we are young but now in days we have to pay to go places. Our parents want give us money because they pay the bills, they buy school clothes for us, they put food on the table, and etc. So how can we have fun with out any money? We can not have really any fun with out money. Us teen like to go shopping, going to the movies, getting nails done (teen girls), going out to eat with our freinds, we like to go to six flags, and etc. If we can not work then how can we do these things. I kow there are jobs like cutting grass, babysitting, and etc but we are not always needed there, so we do not always have money to spend. Shayla Ok ive tried like all of these ideas and they dont work. The crafty one is harder than it looks especially to actually find a place to work at(hotels, etc.). Then there are no dogs in my neighborhood or the surrounding. Then im too young to work at a fast food joint. And no one on my street have teens that are already mowing there lawns and etc. Then there are really no stores around here(Springfield Missouri) that want to hire a teenager.
