palmdesertsandr I believe Italy should have their pieces returned to them. I'm not concerned about the Getty. It's a fabulous place, and there are so so many amazing pieces to see there. What is shocking is to think Ms. Tree was involved in a disgusting conspiracy, so much GREED and so little heart. 8/3/2007
palmdesertsandr It seems as though thieves take anything that is or isn't nailed down. Many people don't seem to have a conscience these days about anything. We live in a pathetic environement of loosers. I feel bad for the owner of the paintings. He was very cool and non-confrontational and non-blaming about the whole situation. I have been robbed 5 times, and I have been extremely sad about some of my special pieces that were stolen. It does leave a large void, when things have a sentimental value. But, what can I say, some people have no soul. 8/3/2007
