sophie a good description except cockroaches are not deadly so no idea where you got your information from but it gives people the wrong impression to refer to them as These deadly pests. 3/16/2011
Misty I must say I have found 7 roaches crawling one at a time on my stove during daylight hours (5 p.m.) while I was in the kitchen, cooking dinner, with the light on. I actually see more with the lights on, than at night when I suddenly turn on a light. These are not the Asian flying cockroaches. They seem to have no fear of the light, or my house activities. I don't have an extremely horrible infestation. My neighbors moved, and when the landlord bombed, these critters crossed the street to come live with me. There are 5 of us, so it is never quiet. 3 young children. They seem to be in odd places like behind the brass African mask hanging in my hallway. Needless to say, the light doesn't seem to phase these nocturnal creatures. And yes, I am in the process of eliminating them from my home. 9/14/2010
