really i was impressed while I read this article which is written by best mind. please tell to the OLF leaders that Oromia is by 100 years later than mekelle. so they have to leave aside minor differences and work for liberation of the poverty striken oromos.am mekelle university student. |

Dear Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin meglommatis, I usually follow and read most of your articles and I really learned a lot from these artilces. I am one of the many who truly admire your accumulated knowledge of History as a student of history.
And especially I am very much concentrate on your articles which deal the Middle-East, learn from and admire your works.
As an Oromoo, who was suffered and mistreated in the hands of the Abyssinian ruling thugs like Mengistu H Mariam and spent most my time in prison for the Oromoo cause whith my fellow Oromoo comrades. In facts, some were perished in prison.
Now I live a foreign country as a refugee after I again opposed the minority Abyssinian regime under crule and barbaric tryannic Meles system which basically targeted the Oromoo for their resources.
Dear Professor, I am writing to basically regarding to your article published : on 10/13/ 2008 regarding Leenco Lataa Waqayyo. I don't think Mr. Leenco deserves such alligations from such very influencial like you sir ! You might have been misunderstood and misinformed by some Oromoo or non Oromoo individuals who can't agree with him. And yet, have never contributed posively for the Oromoo cause like Mr. Leenco who have spent most of current life fighting the Abyssinian oppressive, backward and ugly system againt Oromoo people and other oppressed nations in the so-called Ethiopian state. He was one the main committed individual Oromoo who have stablished/created the Oromoo Liberation Front, (OLF) in the early 1970th. he is still committed for the rights and justice of Oromoo people. I know him very well Leenco is NOT the Wayane( Meles government's agent and I assure he will never serve this Tigrai thugs who are engaged robbing the Oromoo resources and killing thousands of Oromoo of all ages men and women alike.
Therefore, I would like to inform you that you should Not be misused by certain Meles agents who truly work againt Leenco disociate him from Oromoo people. He is the most hated by all Abyssinians for his firm stand and understanding their appalling characters more than many Oromoo individuals. So I request you Sir not to be misusued and mistreat some vital Oromoo persons. And again I am very happy if you don't too much intermingle yourself into the Oromoo internal political and social problems please !

This is a good example on why the West should build a wall around Ethiopia to allow these people to happily kill each other off. Of all the many places I have worked in the world Ethiopia has the most vile evil people I have had the misfortune to try to help. Killing and destruction of one another is what gives these people joy. |
