Yes, im 13. but so what? i work my friggen BUT OFF and get payed so little, its not right. i work really hard and i dont slack because i need this money. unfortunatly babysitting isnt working out because i do it for hours and then BAM, "hey, heres your $5! great work kid." its like jee thanxs i only got barfed on 3 times, washed both your dogs, changed 3 dipers, made lunch for three children, cleaned your house... five bucks seems real fare dip. and im stong, i work out every day with my step dad. im fit and flexible. i can do almost anything within reason. i just want to get paid a somewhat fair wage. i mean dude come on. just because im 13 and not 15, it doesnt mean im not capable. my mom can barely hold us up, my step dad doesnt have a job, my bro is in juvie for about the 3rd time, i have two cats, one had 5 babies. i live in a tiny apartment, one dog, big one too, wraught whiler mix. i have litteraly 2 pairs of pants, and 4 shirts. i need this. i need to help my family, we need money. all the rich take and take. leaving the poor more poor and making themselves more wealthy. its just so unjust! i have skill, i have disiplin, im nice, gentle, i can handle almost anything... |

13-year-olds aren't too young. I mean just think about it. We're young, so we have a lot of energy. We can be hard working children. 14-year-olds can work, so what makes other people think that 13's can't work? Being 12 is too young. All teenagers should have the permission and ability to put their full potential into cash paying WORK. We are experienced. I'm 13 and I already know how to drive. Not that I do drive, I just know by looking! But that's not the case. Everyone knows how teenagers are. We definitely need money to buy our own things because our stubborn parents are too cheap, and if anybody's too dumb to see that 13's are too young to work, then they must be too wasted or too high to even comprehend how 13's are. |
