Micheal Vick fights dogs and everybody wants him out of the league but Ray Lewis kills a man and nobody seems to care...What is wrong with this country? What's with all the NFL players who commit crimes like rape and battery and get little to no suspension. These players are looked up to and live the dream but are convicts...and they happen to be big names too. At least the patriots dont sign convicts like every other team. |

Here's the case against Ray Lewis:
A fight broke out in which two people were stabbed to death.
In addition to an entire group of people, Ray Lewis and two of his friends were involved, and witnesses for BOTH the prosecution AND the Defense testified that he was NOT fighting but was in fact trying to break up the fight. As would happen in absolutely any case in which there was no evidence of guilt, charges were dropped.
So considering there's no evidence against him, and besides the fact that he's a large Black man, what other reasons can you people come up with to try and argue that he must have been guilty? Anyone? |

Acquital means that proof of your guilt was not sufficient to remove all reasonable doubts.

It's a disgrace that anybody would stand up for this guy. The murder charges against him were dropped because he plea-bargained out of them in exchange for testifying against the remaining suspects. And then he never implicated them. He obviously paid for the defense lawyers in the case, and his money bought everbody's freedom. Meanwhile, two men are dead, and nobody has been punished for it. Ray Lewis is a disgraceful human being, and most likely a murderer, or at the very least an accessory to murder. If he would have ever come clean about what happened that night after the Super Bowl, or if he had not made himself look guilty by reaching financial settlements with the families of the two murder victims, maybe some of us could extend him the benefit of the doubt. Instead, he looks as guilty as sin -- and probably is. And the fans just go wild when he does his spastic-chicken dance, as if nothing's wrong with this picture. |

I watched this trial on Ray Carruth from beginning to end. I was too saddened over the loss of that beautiful young girl and the injuries to her unborn child. God was ready for Cherica but not until she lived long enough to put Ray at the scene of the crime. If she had died right away he would of gotten away with murder. No one could of put him there ath the time of the murder |
