allenmccloud It's a shame that Ali Hichem Lakhdari dose not fully understand what he was invited to do. Not only has he never worked for BP but has never been offered a position with BP. He was invited to sit an entrance test together with other candidates for a position outside BP which unfortunatly he was not very succesful, as a result the position was take by a suitable candidate. Sorry to see he still has not grasped the situation. 3/15/2005
ali lakhdari dear sir,

I am sending you this message and I hope you can provide me with some help
regarding my right .This job is at B.P ISG Hassi Messoud, Algeria.

On September 24, 2003, the maintenance department manager(ISG BP Algeria)
Mr. Allen McCloud contacted me by Email for a job as a maintenance man.
Therefore, I replied him back happily accepting his offer on the same day.

The maintenance manager, Mr. Allen Mccloud, re-contacted me on September 26,
2003 and he requested from me to contact him as soon as possible, either by
phone or go meet him in person. When I got his message, I replied him at
that moment and I told him that I was working for another company, so I will
not be able to meet him in Hassi Messaoud base unless the job is for surely
confirmed. The maintenence manager, Mr. Allen Mccloud, confirmed and I
agreed.

On October 15, 2003 I presented myself and I was ready to start the job.
But, I was surprised and disappointed the moment I got there. Mr. Allen
McCloud was not present and I met with Mr. Malcoum Wood who told me that I
was not suited for the job because I am not an electrician. Eventhough, I
am certified by B.P. Company, and for your knowlege I have worked for B.P.
Maintenence Team.

When Mr. Allen Mccloud returned from his break on the 23 of November, he
appologized by email for the misunderstanding and he told me that the
position of my specialty has already been filled by someone else. He
promised me that he will be finding me a job position soon. I have been
waiting for three months already and I have not heard anything from him yet.

I have already contacted one of your emloyment offices on the B.P. Company
website through e-mail on January 5, 2004, but sadly I have not heard
anything from them. I hope that someone can help me reguading this
situation as soon as possible, because I was told that my position was
confirmed and I had to leave my old job just for the pleasure and
convinience for working for B.P. Company.

kind regars.

Ali Hichem Lakhdari
