What You Need To Know About Exotic Pomeranian Puppies

Could that strange colored puppy shaped like a Pomeranian be an exotic Pomeranian puppy? The most striking color is blue merle. There are a few colors like blue and parti-color that are both standard and exotic Pomeranian puppy colors. Exotic colors usually include beaver, lavender, chocolate and blue merle.

Kim I'am sorry but I do not agree with alot of what you are saying about Poms. First there are no Teacup or Poms the AKC breed standard is that they have to be as long as they are tall (square) second not all breeders that post their puppies for sale on the internet are puppy mill breeders, I am a very small breeder I have 3 females and 1 male I have 1-3 litters per year and I am very picky on who is getting one of my puppies. Third not all Poms hate kids my 4 love everyone it's all in how they are raised all though I will not sell any of my puppies to a home with children under the age of 10 yrs or to homes with large dogs of any kind it's not that Poms hate big dogs it's the fact that Poms and other smal breeds have what we call big dog syndrome where they think they are as big as a large dog.I have been a veterinarian technician for over 20 years and have seen many many small dogs come in after either being dropped and or stepped om by small children or chewed up by a big dog. I have also done many c-sections on small Poms under 5 pounds because the owner first has no business breeding this dog it's to small and then they have bred it to a larger dog of the same breed because they didn't know any better they were just trying to get a toy or teacup puppy which if they know anything at all about their breed like I said before there is no such thing. And most of all you should have researched your information prior to writting this article of which is incorrect. Thank you 4/26/2009
