Bill Earl The Incredible Slow Motion Video of Jumping Squirrel was easy to accomplish.
Simple build a bird feeder similar to the one in the video.
Set a small bench or chair close the feeder.
Put peanuts on the feeder every day and each day more the bench further and further away.
The squirrel will start to use tail to further the distance of the jump,
The squirrel's tail rotation is so fast that only a slow motion video will reveal what is really going on.
Use a Cannon HV 30 Camera to obtain a slow motion video of the squirrel's tail action.
Google: Incredible Slow Motion Video of Jumping Squirrel and observe the action of the squirrel's tail and the lateral movement of the squirrel towards the end of the jump.
