ella2706 I think is very useful to read this articole for people who want to start an animal rescue. But I also think that first people need to research to see if there is not already a shelter or animal rescue in their town.And if it is I think is better to offer their help to that shelter instand of starting another one. 11/3/2009

Shell Great article! The part where you said how overwhelming it can be, the suffering, animals being dumped in your lap, that is absolutely THE biggest thing to consider. Words can't express how painful it can be, emotional and physical, to see these creatures in pain, abuse, neglect. BUT, it happens with or without you. I will deal with this kind of pain to stop the pain of the animal. Someday, maybe all the rescues will be out business, wouldn't that be a beautiful thing! 2/16/2009
