julie mellum Those who sell, promote or use wood burning equipment are not concerned environmentalists--they are selling and promoting pollution! Wood smoke is a major source of fine particulate pollution. When particle pollution goes up, people die, according to Dr, Joel Schwartz at the Harvard School of Public Health. Also, wood smoke that crosses into another's property is violating that person's right to enjoy their property smoke-free. Come on, Folks, get real! Why not sell outdoor tobacco burning bonfires?
