christina pagan this is very interesting to me for my name is christina pagan i have struggld am had god save me an guid me to better things. I have had several times whr god has calld out to me in ways some wld say super natural form. But knew it was god. I use to see the future an have spirits talk to me. But did not know weather it was a gift frm god or da devil but rebucked it in the name of jesus an have been blis to that formality since then. I allways believed cuz my name being a blood line of paganis an being a child of god. Reading this brings clarification to things i have experienced. Kristina Blessed Feast of St. Cristina! It is interesting that you seem to be looking at western sources for an eastern saint. May I humbly suggest the excellent 6 volume set The Synaxarion of the Orthodox Church published in English by the Monastery of Ormylia in Greece?
Also, the Great Lives of the Saints which was written by St. Dmetri of Rostov is in the process of being translated and published. Six or eight of the twelve volume set are out already by St. Chrisostom Press in House Springs, MO		 7/24/2009
