| Paul Gammarano | A good article, but was hoping to find out what "agent" (such as chelating agent, antioxidant, or anti-microbial agent) would the initials MA stand for on a food label, or is this an obsolete abbreviation. Does MA stand for Microbial Agent ? e-rsvp if possible with reference to "Food Additive classifications" in the subject line, to paul.gammarano-kbcc.cuny.edu Thanks very much, Prof P J Gammarano, Health Educator |

| JoAnne | I see your info on "Dangers of Food Additives and Preservatives", but where is the source for the info? Where is the study that says these additives cause cancer, etc.? I am trying to compile information so I can go to my school system and ask them to take out this stuff from the school lunches. I would like to have some backing behind this claim (even though we know it is true, I want to have the resource to prove it). Thanks! | 3/20/2011 |

| N. Truelove | I read an article that a woman lost 30 pounds just changing her diet to be free of any additives. I started looking at the foods I was eating and am convinced that many of my IBS, inflamation, etc. are reactions to what I have been eating. It is almost impossible to eat natural foods shopping at a regular grocery store. | 3/31/2010 |
