Alexandros Please remove the utterly inconsistent information about ; neighbouring countries' : a) there were no countries but either other city states or settlements of common traditional and religious origin, b) Macedonia was never a 'different' country as they shared the same religious and tradition with the rest of the greek clans. There were differences in the spoken dialects but even linguistically the origin was the same. Additionally, the origin of macedonian was in any conceivable way, greek. c) Rome was a city that between 753 and 250 bc was 'consumed' by regional wars in the italian penninsula with the exeption of Pyrros, the Greek King of Hepirus who attempted to conquer the Italian regions. 10/6/2008
