queen of sheeba oh! please if a black contestant gets voted off immediately it said racism. Face it the top 12 has been chosen because they are the better singers. Can we please just have fun and enjoy the show. 9/28/2007
lindy i personally think the whole show is biased .if you look back on the jorburg auditions when they were auditioning that guy who is jerry mofokeng"s son,he was treted unfairly as for my opinion he sang well ,but as for the freaken judges no!! i was suprised to see him leave and not move on to the next stage, the judges are sometimes clueless they don"t know what they want.and as for that mouse looking face randall!! he shold just stay at home and rest. 8/29/2007
chris stop making racism an issue, we forgot bout it, all my freinds r black, 3/29/2007

White Booi I think you're talking KAK 8/29/2006
afrika do not think that there was any rigging of the results its an issue of who has more money? we all know the answer to that. 6/12/2006

Kate Saxon I think Mara's comment to Veronique on Sunday was disgusting. How can you not call that racist. There is no way that anyone could say that V CANNOT SING! She may not win but her voice is fantastic. 11/15/2005
Lizeldi Baars Hi I know that you brobbably hear this a lot, but I am really talented, but theirs no one that wants to give me a chance. please I really want to sing with all my heart and I would die giving up. But please if their is someone that can help me please, I brg you! I will devote myself entirely to do whatever it takes. 11/14/2005
Anomonous I think that Ayanda had to stay in because she has got talent and Nshlansa & Nicki are the two that has to leave . 11/8/2005
thandisa A message I would like to leave to all the south african out there, Please brothers and sisters, stop behaving racisist when it comes to the success of this generation. This message goes to black or white; we young people are not interested in these attitude no more. People who still live with this kind of desease, please just let us(young people) do what we could do to promote our country and to achieve our goals and success 11/1/2005
Inge I am a coloured female and use to think that Randall was racist but looking at his critism now it all makes sense. Mara has no right to judge because she cant even sing. She is a racist 10/16/2005
lerato i dont think that Bonolo is a good singer at all she should have left a while back. if anyone is racist it is Mara Louw 10/16/2005
Joanne i think it true that there was racism on who was to be the next idol..its a pity that there is still racism at this time and age... 9/12/2005
tyrone its time some people got the chip off their shoulders, when ever a white says or does something they shout rascism . but when a non white says or does this its because he was under privaledged, its time some people grew up and learn that not all people have their small minds, these competitions are fair , and the coloured guy should accept he lost like a man and not a squeeling whimp, no wonder they dont have much say in the world . its purely because they cry foul to get something, they dont believe in working for it. so yeah i reckon the chip be quite a load for them because i believe1 million years from now theyll still ride the rascism wagon 9/5/2005
sickandtired pathetic....................drop the racism card for crying in a bucket 7/4/2005
t to adam b thats the us where times and views not to mention the majorities mentality has changed, i live in britain but am from zambia and i know what it is like ys you have a point they would not have gotten that far but i think its more a case of voters realising how close they are to maybe letting the wrong person win! 12/20/2004
teren i agree i watched the second one where anke won and clearly poseletso was more talented. however i do believe those who have had their once in a lifetime opportunities stolen from them by the narrow minded public will come out ontop no matter how long it takes look at a british example, lemar, who should have won fame academy but as suggested did not for the same reason yet he is making more than the winner ever will in a lifetime! 12/20/2004
Adam B.... U.S. This competition is set up to see who is the most talented singer not to see who we can discriminate the most... This stuff about rigging and racism is a hoax if you are saying Brandon October and Ayanda Nhlangothi got voted off because they are black you are wrong. If the show was racist, they wouldnt have gotten that far in the competition or even in the competition at all.... there a numbers of reasons why they didnt ..... because when they do so well in the competition, people think they dont need to vote as much for that person so in doing so they get less votes and the people that do bad get more because their voters are worried they wont make it... In the U.S. we have had several people get voted off that shouldnt have and they could have won but like I said its the peoples thinking on voting.... 11/2/2004
rosy it is such a shame that this is still a fragile issue,we all want to be happy and we all have a heart that beats in us.blind people dont see any difference,so what is the difference,is it different opinions or just the coulour of the skin, shame on you who still live in the stoneage. 10/28/2004
Isidingo There was an element of racism in the South African Pop Idol competition. Brandon October was the hot favourite and should have won but I believe the overt racism of a female black judge who was consistently and unfairly racist against good white contestants pissed off the predominantly white audience. I know I was one of them and if it wasn't for her I would have voted for Brandon which I now regret as he was the more talented.By the way the black girl Ayenda was my favourite and was voted off too early but perhaps she was too much of a class act to be a pop idol. 6/16/2003
Tajh well i think that its vey stupid and races. i mean like i think that people in 2 and 3 world countrys could have the chance at stardom.. i mean im only 13 but i kinda know what im talkin about.. 4/2/2003
