| anna | hi, i've used this website as a resource for revision for my exams but i have noticed quite an important error that i think you should be aware of. The error is the fact that you mentioned that the montgomery bus boycott involving rosa parks was in 1965 , but actually it was in 1955 , which was martin luther king's first protest so how could he give the 'i have a dream' speech that lead to his loving supporters in tears if he had never been involved in the montgomery bus boycott that gave him this fame that was needed to change the views on black americans and prejudice. I am extremely disappointed due to the fact that because of this website, i could have included the montgomery bus boycott of 1955-56 in a question related to the success of the 1960's for the civil rights movement. For the sake of students that rely on this website, please fix this silly error . thank you . | 5/10/2010 |
| Free Speaker | Acually we arnt even with the history because there isnt a white history month regardless if we havent talked about blck history and that is because there is more history about whites than blacks | 4/16/2010 |
| burky | Larry, you obviously have no idea. The current trend to teach African-American history is a long overdue move to redress the imbalance. You seriously need to think about your views within the context of world history. Open your eyes! | 2/21/2010 |
| Shiyan Collins | blacks and whites are the same inside so they should not be treated differently no matter what we should all learn to love one another. | 1/13/2010 |
| Shiyan Collins | blacks and whites are the same inside so they should be treated differrently,no madder what we should all learn to love one another. | 1/13/2010 |
| Julie | This article is very wrong. | 3/10/2009 |
| larry | what ever happened to white history, you only hear about black history | 2/25/2009 |
| A-Nade | Not accurate. The Rosa Parks incident occurred on December 1, 1955 not 1965. By 1965 public transportation was already desegregated. | 12/2/2008 |
