| A Friend | This page has really inspired me, you hard work and dedication actually showed me something profound. I am so much more intelligent, conscious of events in the actual world, able to form correct, logical, and unbiased decisions based on facts as opposed to opinionated trash than you are. Thank you for showing me your unbounded stupidity so that I may feel better about myself. Thank you. P.S. This site has a spell check. How is it possible for you to have destroyed your grammar in only the first line of this page? |

| szentmiklos | It's too bad that people that disagree with you are either "far fetched" believers in "myths" or "bought" by sinister organizations. Does'nt leave much room for serious debate does it ? But then ridicule is a major part of the AGW methodology when it comes to dissent... | 4/19/2011 |

| Tina | Well Idont exactly believe in global warming because no bodyreally has proof and i just believe its a cycle so follow me cause im smart oh and hi maryane I really like what you said | 3/2/2011 |
| Abdul Shakka | I don't understand where the idea is from. 11,000 years ago the ice age ended, there was no way we ended that, we had nothing to cause it. So if the same thing happened 11,000 years ago and nothing went wrong, why is it necessarily if the Earth heats up a little bit. It is not even heating up drastically, the troposphere actually has no change at all, it is only Earth's surface showing change. 30 years ago scientists thought that the Earth was actually heating up. Make up your mind! I personally do not believe in global warming at all. | 2/28/2011 |
| Abdul Shakka | We should reduce, reuse, and recycle because it is good for the environment but the temperature has barely risen in the last 100 years (only .3 to .8 degrees Celsius) where was it that the conclusion was made that it was the rise in CO2 | 2/28/2011 |
| Yo Momma | Well Devon, I am against globalwarming...ALL OF THE POLAR BEARS ARE DYING ! ARE U HAPPY NOW SCIENTISTS, WE WANT TO LEARN MATH AND YOUR RUINING ARE DREAMS TO RIDE A ON A POLAR BEARS BACK..EATING A PENGUIN FOR DIN DIN ! | 2/28/2011 |
| Devon | I NEED HELP please give ideas. Thanks. |

| Devon | i need to know what people are for and against global warming so it can help me with my science breif to pass it to get my 4 GCSE's. | 2/28/2011 |
| Followyour Nose | I personally disagree with the theory of Global Warming. I have no ties with industry at all. Im not so fond of that either. However, the proof that global warming doesn't exist seems to outweigh the proof that it does. This fact is perfectly logical and not far fetched or incorrect at all: If humanity cannot predict tomorrow's weather, how can it predict future climates? This statement is extremely accurate if you ask me. Also, satellite readings of the troposphere show no signs of temperature increase. This level of the atmosphere is the level that should show the biggest signs of global warming. It just seems to me that global warming is a conjure of human imagination. No offense my friend but the fact that these arguments are dumbed down to the extreme, and then argued against simply by saying they are wrong or far fetched with no evidence against them makes me feel like my stand is even more correct. Global warming has no combatant arguments except: "Your wrong!". If proof comes around for global warming (which it is yet to) then I might change my mind. | 2/10/2011 |

| Gen Y | I can see your viewpoint and I partially agree with it. However, some of the arguments against global warming are (like it or not) quite valid. The truth of the matter is that we cannot predict what the future will bring. And we do not have the technology or the competent knowledge to know what kind of weather Earth is expected to experience in the distant future. Additionally, It's quite possible scientific evidence in the future may prove we aren't experiencing global warming. But it is my humble opinion that we should prepare ourselves to prevent global warming since it is quite likely already occurring. I am a young adult who oneday hopes to have children of my own. And I don't want to see my children grow up in a world that is overheating and dying out because my generation (and the generations preceding my own) chose to neglect the world around them. I use energy efficient bulbs, I take public transport and I recycle - even when it means taking old biscuit boxes and soda bottles out of the rubbish bin. I make a downright nuisance of myself for the sake of recycling! Ask my mother! But these are only small and very simple measures we all can take. And if it means the future generations get to grow up on a clean, healthy planet that is void of global warming, I'd say it's worth it. Wouldn't you? Yet, if global warming isn't happening than it doesn't matter because at least we've come up with solutions for future generations who may face global warming. And the environment will thank us for it, too! Either way, it's a win-win situation when we make the effort to look after our planet. :) | 12/30/2010 |

| joy and im 14yr | i think this is some bulonye global warming is a VERY SERIOUS problem we are faceing today and the reason why it doesnt seem so because us man kind is the case for half of it from destrowing aniamls habat to killing and caleting rare afr and selling it for billions of dollar if we leave thing as they should be we would not have problems that shouldnt be... | 10/3/2010 |
| ET | Global Warming is fake. Just admit it Al Gore. | 9/9/2010 |
| Alfreredocsil | If those arguments are factually incorrect, why didn't you argue against each point and show us why they are incorrect? Most of those are more well thought out than you represent them to be. | 7/8/2010 |
| patosina | i agree with this article. Its a fact that carbon dioxide is ruining the ozone layer. And i think anything that we should be told by scientists is something we should take seriously, no matter how silly it sounds. I think we should all just do whats best and follow the rules to help stop global warming. In fact, theres nothing that we would be doing wrong anyways. Recycling and Reusing things wont hurt us... | 6/10/2010 |
| JayByrd | A lot of the global warming scare is pseudoscience used in politics to being passed off as science fact. There are several counts of altered data used, even by NASA. What about the petition from Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, currently signed by more than 22,000 scientists, stating that "there is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate" source of petition: petitionproject.org/qualifications_of_signers.php |

| Kahlib | Am I missing something? Where are the actual refutations of the arguments you listed? | 5/26/2010 |
| sandra | There needs to be better information | 5/19/2010 |
| Katelyn | I think global warming has not been happening because it is also known as climate change, but the tempature has to get higher. Well there has been proof that the tempatures have been getting lower. From where I live it's May and about 30 degrees, which is not normal. So how can global warming be happening? Well two words to answer that question: IT CAN'T! | 5/16/2010 |
| jon harford | most intresting | 5/13/2010 |
| Madisonnn | global warming is affected by humans | 5/6/2010 |

| Chris | We need greenhouse gases to survive. Trees will grow faster when CO2 increases. It is proven. | 4/26/2010 |
| wesley | A paragraph against global warming | 2/21/2010 |
| Sassy | "Incorrect or far-fetched arguments against...?" Typical. Conveniently, you've glossed over of the importance of water vapor in your global warming scientific research. Fact: 99% of the air we breathe is: nitrogen (78%) and oxygen (21%). Fact: Of the remaining 1% - 95% is WATER VAPOR. So, the greenhouse/global warming argument boils down to 5% of 1%...of these 'contributing elements.' Fact: Carbon Dioxide (CO2) - the major contributor to greenhouse affect/climate change - accounts for 3% of the above-mentioned 1%. Human activity is responsible for approx. 5% of the 3% of the 1% of CO2 in the atmosphere - other natural sources (animal exhalation and animal dung account for a vast majority of CO2 - I'm not kidding. Fact: Global warming scientists absolutely IGNORE the existance of water vapor in their greenhouse calculations. Advice: Stop being sheep and do some homework... |

| jwg | This is a refutation of anti-global warming? Where are the facts either way? A poor discourse here to be sure | 1/1/2010 |
| REL | This makes me...what are the words...annoyed? Upset? The second argument, that scientists exaggerate effects of global warming because they receive funds from environmental companies, seems disturbing. I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. I've heard this argument for more than global warming. Anyway, If they are exaggerating the facts, should we even call them scientists? A good scientist will think off of straight FACTS, not exaggerations! And there are no facts backing these arguments up! Where is the bibliography on this page?!? | 12/10/2009 |
| Anon | Fak the new world order and your global warming scam | 12/8/2009 |
| Froncie | Perhaps, rather then spew forth the "arguments against global warming," that you clearly have not shared in an unbiased fashion, after so eloquently (sarcasm) stating your, unemotional, educated, thoughtful, scientifically backed side of the debate, you thought you may win people over to your side of the argument? I believe you should try again. I am not even against the idea of global warming and your trite, small minded article puts me off. Better luck next time. Well, maybe you should rely on something besides luck... It sure didn't work for you the first time. Of course I am assuming this is a competent adult writing this; maybe that was my mistake, in which case you can disregard all of the above. It would be a great paper for a middle schooler! | 11/30/2009 |
| w. Armstrong | there are as many scientists that believe that global warming is not caused by man. This is a natural cycle of our planet that has happened many times in the past. There is a 1500year cycle that is supported by physical evidence. This fact was released in 1996 and was never brought to the publics attention. This one sided claim about global warming without looking in other aspects by award win- ning scientists defies common sense. If man is NOT causing global warming you would think everyone would be very happy. But instead when any evidence is found against man caused global warming it is immediately fought against. The only reason I can think of is money,so what goes on here. I feel like there is truth that we are being denied. I guess that makes me a non believer of man caused global warming, but I was taught to look at both sides of a problem. I have looked into this, which took quit a bit of research and time. i will tell you this, The american people and other people of the world have NOT been given nearly all the facts to make a intelligent desicion on this propostrous proposal. |

| Boots | I THINK EARTH IS JUST MAD AT ALL OF US | 11/9/2009 |
| Boots | I think it might be bad but i dont think i have to worry in my lifetime | 11/9/2009 |
| Ryan Tisdale | "One realizes that most of the arguments against global warming are factually incorrect or far fetched. People advocating these arguments have a vested interest in activities and industries that contribute to global warming. Unfortunately they are able to sway a section of the population that global warming is not a serious issue. Earnest efforts must be taken to dispel these myths and make the earth a better place to live in." The same can be said about the arguments for global warming and the people making the arguments. |
11/6/2009 |
| oli | i used this for my homework thanks | 10/28/2009 |
| Phil Chance | I like how you have to say "most" are incorrect, I guess that means some are correct? | 9/17/2009 |
| AlsoCanSpell | rite ohn | 8/1/2009 |
| lwk | So all of these arguments are obviously wrong, and it is all explained by the claim that people have a vested interest in "activities and industries that contribute to global warming"? Here is an equally valid argument. You are full of something, but it is not logic. | 7/27/2009 |
| Rogers | If we choose to believe in the rational of science than are we not cutting of our nose to spite our face by not investigating all possible avenues. If we are to follow the dogma of science then we can not PROVE that anthropogenic activities of increased CO2 levels are causing Global Warming only disprove other hypothesis till scientists have something we can agree on and in 10, 20 or 100 years time scientists will have found a different explanation. | 7/5/2009 |
| Nivarion A. | this article is very biased. 3 reasons why. 1. Even in the arguments you don't remove the "Global Warming is real" twist on things. 2. You claim that the arguments are "factually incorrect or far fetched." however you provide no evidence or reasoning as to why they are far fetched or incorrect. 3. Ah, the "Well, your in the employ of the fossil fuels busyness, so you have an agenda!" argument. Fossil fuel jobs would be lost, but so would jobs in; the glass industry, the steel industry, the electric industries. And you know those computers were writing this on? Yeah we'll have to get rid of those too. Therefore your argument is biased and I denounce you as someone in the pay of GE and a close friend of Al Gore. |
5/4/2009 |
| Jonathan Miles | I don't see anyhting in this article that confirms or disputes global warming. You might as well have wrote an article about why people say they hate artichoke. Global warming is big business, that is why some politicians like the great Gore-acle are pushing this nonsense. |

| Betty L | thank you so much i needed this! this is so true! its like saying humans caused the melt of the ice age | 1/29/2009 |
| Craig Murray | You have listed the arguments against global warming but have dispelled none of them. | 1/5/2009 |
| robert | "One realizes that most of the arguments against global warming are factually incorrect or far fetched" ...many of them are pretty believable actually... |
12/3/2008 |
| Luis Martin | He did not provide one piece of evidence to disprove any one of those arguments. He just said " fatually incorrect or far-fetched" show me some proof! | 12/1/2008 |
| Emma | I think you need to go indepth if you want to find out whether global warming is made up or not. people like me (a.k.a GCSE student) need to know for my science coursework! | 10/9/2008 |
