Islam And Virginity: Hymen Repair Surgery Controversy

The Lille court ruling in France highlights the challenges faced by many Muslim women who have become sexually emancipated while still retaining close connections with the traditional Islamic values upheld by their families. The tension arising from this, is never so intense than when it comes to matters of family honor, particularly as it relates to the importance of a daughter's virginity when entering into matrimony.

Ibnu Saeed well answered, that is a complete deception like the ripples on water. that can only happened when we did understand the reality of being virgin. The word for virgin is chastity. Islam have given to us the true meaning of everything.

Alicia I am muslim and believe it's better (for males AND females) to keep ones virginity for marriage, but lets be Honest that doesn't always happen, but the seriousness placed on someones history should be left in History, unless there's a time changing device I don't know about, marriage is about people's futures together not each others' past (unless that past affect the future ex: mental disorders, genetic problems, or even addictions.
How can there be so much disagreement with the hymen repair, but stress brought to those who aren't virgins? How many virgins are there in the world compared to men who want to get married?!
