| lynn | Ongoing symptoms that do not stop should be diagnosed by a doctor. Similar symptoms can be gall bladder or ulcers, and both can cause bigger problems. Chew your food VERY well and stay on a healthy eating pattern. Eat moderately and use raw foods more as they have enzymes in them. | 7/7/2010 |
| Dr. Meenaz | Hi Gill The dietary changes along with the alternative would definitely help control heartburns caused by bile reflex. Perhaps a dietician can modify the meal plan as per your diagnosis. I would be writing more on psychology and health in a way that its informative and useful for the readers. Thanks for reading and commenting on my article. |

| Gill C | I have found your article about Acid reflux to be very informative - Thank you. Having had a Gastroendoscopy carried out approx 2 years ago which positively diagnosed evidence of Bile reflux , nothing more was done about it, other than being prescribed Omeprazole 20mg. I have been rather concerned that this condition has not been further investigated to establish "why" I am getting this. Then, last May 2007 I had pains in my right side under my rib-cage, I was referred for an Ultra sound scan on my side which showed that I had a non-alcoholic markedly fatty liver, I was told to diet , that diet alone would correct this condition, I was not referred to a liver specialist . Re: your articles: I have found your articles interesting for 2 reasons really ( A ) I had been doing an internet search on articles on Psychometric testing, as I'm am very interested this, I stumbled upon this website, I find your articles to be very good, informative. (B) That you agree with me, that conditions such as Acid reflux / Bile reflux needs further positive investigation as to the actual "cause" thus, prevention ( which in the long-term is best for the patient, and more "cost effective" for the NHS ) . Thank you, I am pleased to have stumbled upon your website !... I shall definately be making use of your "Alternative Remedies" info for Acid reflux, and will read some more of your Psychology related articles. | 8/12/2008 |
