i think that animal testing is okay for medical products, however, it is horrible and my family is a victum of cosmetic animal testing and we do not like having blush and foundation tested for the needs of your female humans. i am talking on behalf of all rats and rodents. please change your habbits! thanks you, can squeek-squeek (byebye in your language) |

Animal testing is wrong- for cosmetics. But can you honestly say that if your mother or spouse was dying from AIDS or cancer you wouldn't want to do anything in or out of your power to fix it? Can you tell me that you would sacrifice a couple animals to save her? Can you say that if you were dying you wouldn't want to find way to live? |

I strongly oppose animal testing for cosmetics with all of my heart. It is brutally unfair and barbaric. Why should poor benign animals have to suffer for people to embellish their faces, it is ridiculous. Cosmetics barely have a purpose, they do not cure deaths but they do kill animals. Additionally statistics show that humans have a different reaction to these products anyway which makes it even more futile.
In conclusion if people are so desperate for cosmetics why not use products produced by companies such as: Mary Kay, the body shop, avon and many more. |

-what does animal testing dealing with neurology or flies have to do with cosmetic animal testing?
-which companies do not stick to the facts and how don't they (the readers won't know which companies you want us to support and stay away from unless you tell us)?
-how do animals react differently than humans? could you provide an example?

i think that is SICK that they do this to animals and harm them... and for what...so they can put a bit of make up on to look nice. well most people actually look better without make up and how is it the animals fault?
if they didnt get hurt during the process then that would be a different story but unfortunatley they do and the people who carry out these kinds of tests are sick.
these animals are helpless and people that so these kinds of things should be tested themselves.
