Patrick Very informative review. I particularly found normalizing my appetite to be a godsend. I've been trying to lose pounds quickly for a long time now and your review really helped.
I just love review sites. Another review site i found that helped me was weightlossreviews(dot)com and rapidweightlossmethods(dot)com

nancy It's 12 midnight, and I just finished day 6 of "the master cleanse"...Day 1 was the absolute worst for me, and if I were just doing this for weight loss, I would've quit right then and there...But, the real reason I decided to do the cleanse is that I'm desperate...I am desperate because I have had a horrible chronic cough for 4 years now. I can't even go to the movies anymore, it's embarrassing, not to mention physically draining. It feels as if someone is squeezing my trachea, not giving me enough air to my lungs. I have gone through the slow and painful HMO process of elimination with my doctors, and still no cure...I've had a series of testing, xrays, and antibiotics with no results...Then I became pregnant, and, unfortunately, my respiratory condition also effected my unborn child's heart...thank God, with proper bed rest (laid on left side 4 hrs/day), his tricuspid valve regurgitation completely dissolved within 2 weeks...As with me, they finally ruled it as Chronic Bronchitis...Okay, now what? So, this is the reason I have decided to do the cleanse in the first place...I am exhausted of having such a deep, hard, barking cough...It wears me down physically. I am hoping that this detox will eliminate, or at least alleviate, the symptoms...I have only 4 days left (plus 3 days of weaning with o.j. and veggie broth)...So far, I have been doing alright. On day 5, I had a tremendous craving for Asian food...Chinese, Japanese, Thai...I didn't care, I just wanted some! I even went as far as taking the ingredients out of my frig to whip up some Japanese Ginger dressing to pour over some veggies, but luckily, my husband was there to give me a "pep talk", otherwise I would've broke (everyone needs a cheerleader when mental weakness starts to takeover)...Luckily, my craving for anything Asian has gone away. Anyway, much to my surprise, I have enough energy to still chase around my 2 year old little boy (little healthy boy, that is)...I read that people still have energy, but I didn't believe it until now. BUT!, I'd be a liar if I didn't say that I don't miss food...I can't wait to dip my taste buds into something other than lemon, maple syrup, cayenne...Oh, the salt water flush is horrific at first, and much to my surprise, it gets better as the days go on...I cannot wait till this is over, but I am so glad I am doing it (and half way through, I might add)...If my cough does not subside, then it's back to the doctor...again...and again...and again. 7/16/2008
