Also, there is one more thing which i would like to say from personal experiece. This "love" of yours, do they know how you feel about the situation? Because I was in a situation like this around a year ago and I made some regrettable mistakes.
It probably is different for you, but my love was a very complicated person, I know that they loved me yet refused to show it because it scared them, so they ran from any sign that they ever cared for me into another relationship. At the time I was heart-broken but figured that I must have just been stupid to think they liked me back. But then I realised that it wasnt stupidity thinking they liked me, it was stupidity not doing anything about it. Because I know that they loved me and I know that deep down they wanted me, but they didnt want to admit it to themselves. I wish now looking back on it that I had done something about it before the relationship they escaped to got to heavy to interfere with. I still miss them dearly and wish I had acted sooner to get them back, I did win them back once or twice from various flings where we couldnt help it, but I never actually spoke to them about the situation, which I strongly regret. Because I think that if I had taken an opportunity to talk to them about the situation and made them confess their feelings then things may have worked out. I know it's difficult losing a love, but its even more difficult when you look back on the loss and wish you had done something about it, because its a shame to lose such a strong passion between to people. |
