Monica I have your high blood pressure repoort, but it wasn't untill I read this that I took action I was on medication for just over a year, I weaned myself off. I was taking 1 then for 6 months now Im taking 1/4 for about a 2 months. till I replace with herbs vitamins etc. It really is quite easy it just take a little more to whatch what youl eat and drink, but thank you for the information I feel much better. loose weight, take control of your stress. Ben I agree that using lifestyle changes to reduce hypertension is a good thing. I do not think, however, that ANYONE should be dropping a prescription medication without consulting with the prescribing physician.

I should also admit that when I am looking for advice on the internet, I tend to judge the quality of the content harshly when the grammar is poor. The use of "your" in place of "you're" in the second paragraph, the non-word "ladened", and the rampant abuse of commas, all indicate to me an uneducated person. So I ask myself, is this the kind of person from whom I should be taking life-critical medical advice?		 1/22/2009
Joanne DeVries I am fearful off weaning myself off my blood pressure meds but am fearful of continuing. I am concerned because I read that if on sterirods and have kidney probelms I should not be taking the pills. I am on Pednisone, lipitar, and benicar plus many anti rejection meds. I would like more info on weaning myself off. 9/8/2008
