Joey My first M game was the first Halo. I was young back then and I still play tons of games today including Halo and Call of Duty. I am a straight A student and I am in good health and have tons of friends from my school. Online gaming helps you socially by interacting with people from around the world. Anybody who grows up to become a killer from playing games has proboly bad parents, or they have a weak and sick mind. If you have that kind of mind, you shouldn't be playing violent games and should stick with the Wii. (which is a bad console) 11/12/2010

Kirstie W. i am sorry but i call BS on the violent part. I really don't know ANYONE that would sit there and wish for a bridge to come and save them. I am a gamer (of course) and i do have road rage but usualy i just cuss at the other drivers. But as for my mother. She is not a gamer at all. I believe the most she plays is Sudoku or bingo on pogo. Anon Wow... To me you just sound quite annoying. Learn some self control. Cause I'm sorry most people look forward to something while they are doing something else it isn't limited to video games. Another person might be thinking about the pie their wife is making does that mean they are eating even when they are not eating?

"If you are dedicated gamer." What does that mean exactly. How often do you have to play to be "dedicated?"

What a concept people pay money for something they like to do. Think about your TV and wait you pay money every month for your connection to the internet .

If you are talking to your computer I think you have another problem. And why are you getting "non-genuine" copies if you are so worried about the damage to your computer.

Where are you buying your games? If your are going to get a game illegally why are you going to pay for it? Its still a crime... if anything go and find a torrent for it.

disgusted gamer Your article is a pathetic one, your not a serious gamer, games help develop the mind and helps us to be curious in the right way while stimulating our brain. Through the curiousity we learn new concepts and other things. Also the point you make about the price of games...think of it this way, if we werent spending our money on games we would be spending it on somethings else like all people do, gaming is something that develops our brain and for you to turn around and disagree and say games make us violent...well you clearly are a very negative person who cannot let people enjoy something but has to feel the need to comment on a positive thing using a negative comment. 5/1/2009
