One suggestion you should consider other animals as well because I know I have a science project due soon and we have to choose an animal and tell it's life cycle so a lot more students should be coming on here not necessarily rabbits but other organisms.

meat rabbits can get as big as 15 lbs.
#Size of the litter is usually between 4-8 kits.
that may be the "usual" but they are capable of more if they are a large rabbit, like Californias.
#Spaying and neutering a rabbit is very much essential for maintaining good health.
I wouldnt agree to that because I have a rabbit who is 10 years old, not neutered adn he is the healthiest 10 yr old rabbit you will ever meet, you would NEVER guess he's that old.
