elaine well a month ago my mom brought 4 water snail to go into her aquarium with her gold fish and algies and the snails has adapted but on problem they had one baby but i was reading that could have up to 200-400 in a season 6/17/2011

Katrina It's better if you spray water twice a day one in the morning one before bed. And cover them with a dark cloth at night and at morning take it off. It encourages them to mate. In the wild tehy normally mate at night when they are safe from predators such as birds so you want a damp and dark place for them to mate in. Also put some moss in because it give off heat at all seasons mostly in winter so eventually your sanils will sleep on it and lay their eggs on it and even mate on it!
