Stefani Lane My Idea is to have 600 to 6000 square miles of white, floating panels placed in the ocean off of where the glaciers have melted with holes for the polar bears to fish and travel back and forth so they don't go extinct. The white panels will reflect the sun back out into space instead of the ocean absorbing the rays. Then when winter comes the panels will freeze over from the ocean underneath and the spray caused from the water around them. Basically take a picture that was taken in the summer about 20 to 30 years ago and recreate the glaciers. What do you think? 7/17/2010

Ashley why would they want to have polar bears losing their habitat but also are also being exposed to starvation since these carnivorous animals mostly feed on seals, walruses and whales which are also disappearing with the change in climate. Why would we want them to be extinced? a result of which the effects and counter effects have started showing drastically. Why would we want that too when we are already losing every polalr bear we have? Jeanette This is all a bunch of bunk! There are more polar bears now than there ever have been. Global warming is mostly made up, for political purposes. What little global warming there is, is a natural cycle. Remember back in the 1970's when we were told we were entering another ice age? Yeah, right. 4/16/2009
