Gymrat I think what he is actually saying and the title are a little missleading.He's not saying eat Mcd's 3 meals a day and get ripped,he is saying allow yourself some type of junk food every once in a while to keep from breaking down and binging on it.I myself am a workout monster,i overtrained so bad for a jujitsu comp one time i ripped my bicep muscle and my thigh muscle, i just like to workout and do things that involve fitness.I however am also a junk food lover.I have a extremely high metabolism so with my avid workouts jujitsu and my laborous job i am pretty ripped.Now i do eat healthy and am not saying i eat it 3 times a day but i would say i eat fast food atleast 3 or 4 times a week.This prob won't work for somebody who is a couch potatoe or someone with a very slow metabolism but it works for me. 11/17/2009
PersonalTrainer This is the worst nutrition article I have ever read. Allowing yourself to eat nothing but crap isn't going to want to make you eat healthy. And "a calorie from a carrot is no different than a calorie from a donut?" Where the hell do you get that? A calorie from a carrot contains complex carbohydrates packed with vitamins that your body needs to burn fat and run properly. A calorie from a donut contains trans-fats, or partially hydrogenated oils, that your body doesn't even recognize as an energy source, and will be stored as fat instantly to your gut or ass. You make me sick. People, disregard everything this article says, if you really want to lose fat, eat 6-7 small meals a day, mainly composed of protein. Thank you. 2/19/2009
