My heart goes out to all the women who have had an abortion or plan to. I am neither pro or con but i do believe abortion kills life. But every women deserves her own choice. Abortion is somthing that women have to choose for the sake of their well being and the child's. If the women is not the right kind of person to have a baby then she shouldnt. If shes only doing it because she doesnt want a baby then why cant she give it up for adoption? Once again my heart goes out to all the women.

In my opinion all abortion is sin but it may be forgiven. I believe it would be more difficult to forgive someone who advocates, promotes, or endorses abortion than someone who obtains one. Or if the same person does both it may be easier to forgive the act than the justification for it. Yet only one kind of sin is unforgivable, blasphemy of the Holy Ghost, and there may be many opinions as to what that is. |

In my opinion, it is not the intention of Christianity to tell people what they can and can not do, but what they should and should not do; and to explain what sort of punishments might be imposed on them in the event they do something they shouldn't have. Also, Christianity teaches about what the requirements for obtaining forgiveness are, and what things are forgivable and what things are not. People may say 'Yes we can' and decide they have the right to do something but that doesn't change God's mind on whether it is right or wrong or whether it is forgivable or not. |

This is just another way to let people who are interested in doing things which are inhumane do them.Using your occupations to do things that are not humane and sick minded. The world is basically given people the right to murder as long as they can present a degree.Those women who do these things well, may god have mercy on your soul. I am not one to judge but we all will answer accordingly and the fact that it was your job wont save you! In our modern day society where there are more choices to prevent these things from occuring like birthcontrol and the plan b.Society lets irresponsible indiviuals once again find a way to not deal with problems they have made for themselves we kill our children ,while the women in Africa fight to keep theirs alive from childhood diseases that are easily cured.As for rape like murder you can not wash blood with blood...

Okay people...let's talk intelligently here. Firstly, you can't ever "prove" that something is morally right or wrong since morals are things that people conceive to be acceptable. Here's something to get you thinking though...for those of you saying that "it's against God's will." Technically speaking, God gave us our large brains and opposable thumbs and developed frontal lobes. It's because of this that we are able to perform such miracles of science. Just for the sake of argument, God gave us the tools to manipulate genes and perform abortions so therefore we are doing God's work. |

I think that abortion should be absolutly illegal. I do agree that killing one of them is like killing a grown human being. I think that the only way you should be able to get an abortion is if you have some kind of medical problems, because there are plenty of people out there that can't have kids and would adopt.

I think it is the mothers choice if she wants to get an abortion or not. Should the father have a say in it? Yes, i do think so...to a point. for the mentioning of an abortion to the father may cause in abuse. Therefore the mother should have the say in which she wanted to get rid of the 'fedus'. |

As a woman, my natural inclination is pro choice, since I do believe strongly that no outside authority such as the government or a religious group or a secular moral group has any right over the personal decisions I make about my body. However, as a mother and as a thinking human being, I do understand the ethical issues surrounding pro life issues. Since pro choice involves being responsible for my own body, therefore it is my responsibility not to conceive a child irresponsibly. And once a child is conceived, since it is a part of my body for the nine months it lives in it, it is my responsibility not to cause it harm – as I wouldn’t cause it harm after it is born.
Of course, this brings the issue of victims of rape and incest into the picture. Should a child conceived from a rape, which includes date rape, or incest, be aborted? Should a woman be forced to continue with the pregnancy until birth in such cases? Well, personally, I would again favor towards the unborn fetus, for it is not responsible for the rape or the incest, and should not be killed for somebody else’s crime.
Some of the other factors that bother me are using abortion as a form of birth control or population control, as well as the methods used for aborting the fetus, particularly after the first trimester. Also, using it as a method of selectively aborting female fetuses, as is common in countries like India, China, and so on due to social mores. This form of abortion has necessarily to be done at a later stage after the fetus develops enough for the gender to be determined.
Although I have chosen to use the term 'fetus' all through this article so as not to sensationalize the emotive issues that are obvious about these facts about abortion, however, it is also true that ordinarily we say we are pregnant with a baby, and not a fetus. But, even when one uses the clinical term 'fetus' one cannot escape how disturbing and distressing abortion actually is. |

I think abortion is something a woman should be able to have actcess to if she's raped or cannot provide a safe & secure life for the baby. A woman shouldn't be able to have more than one. They should learn form their mistakes of sexual activity & deal with their problems. |
