ConfusedEric I understand the basics of the stock market but can you tell me, when the market goes into a free fall, as it has recently (10/08) it is because people are selling stocks? who are they selling to? Why does the market drop since it's just stocks changing owners? Or do the stocks disappear? What am I missing? 10/14/2008
