Linda A great article. I have been having problems with my older of the 2 cats I have. The older cat is a male, 10 years old. The other one is a female, 3 years. I have taken care of my mom's cat for 2 weeks while she was on vacation. Her cat is a male, and about 2 years old. I know she spoils him. I don't clean my litter box for 1 1/2 days, where as she does it everyday. My older cat, the male started doing his job out of the litter box on my carpet and in my plants. Soon to realize the litter I had in the box wasn't the same litter that my mom's cat had, and I am thinking my male liked the other littler box better. I fooled him, now I bought the litter mom uses, and we have no problems. Maybe he fooled me. Reading this article, helped me find out that cats are pretty smart. Thanks again. 4/30/2008
Consuelo Wow! Thank you so much! I have never had any cat and now I am trying to save one from death row. I have taken her home and quite honestly did not have any idea how to look after her. Now, with your advise, I am sure we both will live happily ever after... Thank you! 3/13/2008
