unknown i would like to start with saying that i also believe in god, however when you are writing a report like this, you should leave personal bits out, you have a lot of good information, but you cant say science is a joke! the coelacanth has evolved! they now have live bearing young! ! if u dont want people comming on here bashing your views, dont smash thiers! between faith and fact lies the truth 4/7/2011
Derek I'm not sure where you graduated, but you really need to learn how to give an opinion without shoving it down someone's throat. I read a paragraph and I honestly couldn't read the rest. Learn how to write. 4/22/2010
evolutionist1 first off it doesn't disprove evolution, there are many species that havent had to evolve or have evolved very little because there all but perfect for example sharks, crocodiles, isopods, etc. 2nd when a fish species gives live birth the "pups" as you put it are called fish fry. 3rd the female is larger for reproduction purposes and dont even get me started on god and the ridiculous notion of genesis 4/19/2010
Jelly I never knew that ... that a coelacanth is found in very cold water. And the information in determining a fish's age is enlightening. Thanks. 2/23/2009
Kimecki This helped me a lot because I am doing a project on the Coelacanth, but does it have any predators? Anything that eats them? Or do they just eat everything in their path? Thanks! : ) 11/5/2008
