Atheism is not a belief, and a proper definition of atheism has to start with the reality of what it is.

Anonymous A belief is not determined by the claim
-but by the person who holds that claim as truth. A lack of something for one person, could mean a gain for someone else. It's all relative. One can't assume that a belief doesn't exist simply because it lacks something...otherwise there would be no beliefs at all! Atheism should not be defined by what it isn't, but by what it is...try investigating what some atheists - do believe.
