Inez A. Smith I am so happy i went online to find the information i need. I have hyperthyroid graves, the sides,forehead,bohears,and my laugh lines are very,very dark. Sometimes it get so black it looks like i have been burnt.My dermatalogist said it has nothing to do with my thyroid.She said it was sunburn. Iam so embarrased, use to have beautiful skin. 1/16/2010
Lisa I think you should discuss how to get one's hormones back to optimal levels since this is the most likely cause of the Melasma/Chloasma. Why spend money only treating the symptom? From what I can tell, it is definitely hormone related, but precisely which? I've also seen it in people who have thyroid issues. 8/3/2009
