Elizabeth "wandering around with their cows and a Bible in their hands while the rest of Europe experimented with liberalism and democracy"? Not very nice. You clearly have no idea of Afrikaner history. And what about the very big Sotho or Tswana cultures? The English-speaking S.Africans definitely do not dominate. Boiled veggies? Chips the staple diet? There are a lot more than this; vegetarians will love the non-meaty food, and traditional African dishes can be found in many restaurants. Where have you been?
