| Brenda Nave | I was wanting to use boric acid to get rid of cockroaches. I have mice real bad also. I have two cats that eat the mice. I have spent a fortune on exterminators. They charge you $100 every month to come in and spray but by the time yhe sixth month comes around and they have been spraying all this time, I had them just as bad the sixth visit as I did the first visit. If youwant to know what I think? I think I should be pretty well rid of them or at least be able to tell the numbers are getting fewer. What I need to know is if the boric acid will kill my cats if the cats get ahold of the mice that got into the boric acid? | 12/30/2010 |
| Capt J | Mixed with Borax, can make cloth fire-resistant, big time. | 12/18/2010 |
| Gary | Dusted in shoes to kill odors and disinfect. Dusted on roof moss with sodium borate (generic laundry detergent) will kill it right off. Works for jock itch and athletes foot (PH sensitive). Dusted on an ant hill will force the survivors to move. Creatures with exoskeleton are scratched by sharp crytstals which allows bacteria to invade - to an insect or spider, it's like trying to walk on broken glass. | 9/30/2010 |
| Bruce | I can say that it does work well to control roaches--I spread a thin layer of the dust at the edge of my garage door periodically, and the results are amazing--now if I could just find something for spiders I would have it made! | 9/6/2010 |
