Terrance Green I enjoyed the brief outline of the historical beginnings of the science of psychology. In my heart of hearts, i think psychology should be implemented to help improve our societal structure. I think the magic of psychology can be like a goal post in football-it can position itself on both sides of the field, it can function as a preventive measure as well as an antidote to correct impending social problems. After all, we have to be mindful that society is made up of people, therefor, the problems rest with people and the solutions rest with people as well. In conclusion, i understand the angle of 'behavioral psychology' but who can dispute that 'actions' are precipitated by patterns of thought-at least actions of humans, thats why we are called, 'homosapiens, which is characteristic of a thinking being. 1/31/2010
