Dr. George Marc I believe that there are not three types of waves, but four types. The fourth is the rouge wave which is fast deadly and terrifying. Rouge waves are not common, but those who experiance the waves are tramatized for life. Very few ships can even withstand the one hundred foot waves that berate the ship. Many lives will be lost to the waves unless something is done to help the ships escape the wrath of the rouge waves. 10/29/2010
