Karen I too believe that aspertaime was the root of my illness. For approx. a year, i was in and out of Doctors. I had 3 MRI's on my head, 1 on my neck, 2 spinal taps, blood tested for all of the autoimmune diseases listed in this article. I was tested for diabetes(it runs in my family). was told,then ruled out I had pseudotumor, had 2 ambulance rides and the list goes on before someone turned me on to aspertaime poisoning. I was drinking on average 10 can diet dr. peppers daily with no other liquid going into my body. Had gotton so bad that I could barely walk because of the weakness and pain and could go on and on with symptoms. After 1 month of being FREE of aspertaime, I am happy to report that I am a different person! Still have the leg pain and weakness BUT it is getting better each day, but most of my other symptoms have gone or barely noticeable! I fully believe that had i not been turned on to this article, eventually, it would have cost me dearly! Thank all of you for the research and info on this deadly poison! 4/6/2010
rose After taking a supplement that is put into a drink, I started getting high blood pressure, my heart began racing, I was having anxiety attacks, both my arms began jerking and flopping around on thier own, then excruciating pain began shooting down both arms, such as severe muscle cramps, burning and numbness, muscle atroph, severe weakness, the pain was comparable to that of child labor, but isolated in my arms. I also was extremely thristy and discomfort when I swallowed. I went to several different doctors who could not tell me what is wrong. I had blood test ran for lyme disease, lupus, electrolytes, etc... I had x-rays and mri done everything show normal. I have been taking therapy for my arms for two and a half months now. I still do not have 100% use of my arms yet, but I am determined with prayer and therapy to get full use of arms back. I only used the supplement with aspartame four days, but I paid dearly for it. As soon as I quit taking the supplement I just knew in my heart that it had to be the aspartame. They need to take that poison off of the market. 12/13/2009

Sue. I am desperate to contact someone about a lady who is very ill and eats lots of Aqua Drops which contain Aspartame in high doses.
