We cheer the American "Idol" and give them fame and praise. We praise the singers, movie, TV actors/actress - give them fortune and call them stars. We make statues of conquerers who killed millions, presidents, movie stars in monumental sizes.
Protestants, they don't say a single thing about this.
Acutally they go and take pictures in front of these statues, listen to music and see movies, tv shows of these "stars", YET
they cannot stand any praises going to our real super stars; Virgin Mary and the Apostles and the saints who helped in Jesus's quest to save our souls from eternal damnation. Not only do they bring our superstsrs down to the same level as you and me, but call all their efforts evil and deny their sheer existence.
Bravo protestants! Your depth of faith is one inch high.

Oh my Lord Jesus Chirst, Virgin Mary, who was your beloved mother on earth, is being attacked by the protestant church and 'the' devil itself. Please give her strength to carry on her love and care for us, and please give the Catholic Church and the catholics the strength to not be wavered by these devil's words.
She was the most important instrument on earth, for the salvation through Jesus Christ, our Lord, to be fulfilled on earth. She was the bride to the Holy Spirit . She is the most faithful helper to you Jesus Christ, in solidifying our faith towards you. I love Virgin Mary and will forever cherish her devotion to you. I want to be like her, and follow her faith and love for you my Lord. Please give us strength to endure the devil's coniving attacks and help mend this division among us Christians. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Those pastors, reverends, who preaches that praying the Rosary is wrong, are you sure, YOU are praying often enough - and NOT ONLY FOR SHOW during your sermons - and in the right way to God? We, catholics are taught to do the Rosary everyday, so that sinners can be saved, not just for our own selfish reasons. Or do you deny the importance of prayer?
People loved Virgin Mary so much, they started to ask Virgin Mary to pray with them and for them, to the Lord. They kept on praying to her. So Virgin Mary appeared to the faithful and taught the "proper" way to ask for her assistance in praying to the Lord, and in doing so she put the focus back onto God, NOT her. When we do the Rosary. our faith toward GOD and Jesus is strengthened.
First she taught us to make the Sign of the Cross and say the "Apostles' Creed." which states our unwavering faith toward one God who created the heaven and this world, our savior Jesus Christ and our belief in the Holy Catholic Church, and then she told us to say "Our Father" prayer before asking her to pray with us in every step. And at the end of every mystery we say the "Glory be to the Father" prayer. When we do the "Hail Mary"s we specifically ask her to pray FOR us sinner now and the moment we die. We never ask HER to FORGIVE us sinners, but that she prays FOR us so that the Lord would have pity on us and forgive us of our sins. Yes, we don't need her help to ask for forgiveness, but it never hurts to have reinforcements. WHY DO WE PRAY FOR EACH OTHER then, if all we need is our own prayers to Jesus. God favored Virgin Mary , and lived her life devoted to God. Do you deny that? But are you sure God looks at you with favor and the way you live your life is pleasing to God? When we pray to God, he hears us, but are you sure you are praying in the right way that pleases God, or are you just praying for your own selfish reasons? When we do the Rosary, not only are we praying in a righteous way, solidifying our faith to God, but also we have reinforcement from someone God loved and blessed. She was and is the MOST BLESSED and favored woman (and in my opinion, person) who ever existed on earth (Jesus was not just human, he was also God - some might think, we cannot live the life Jesus did although he wants us to, because after all he was God. BUT when we see Virgin Mary, she was human and lived the life God wants us to live, that's why we rever her and remember her and also the communion of Saints, it encourages us to live our lives pleasing to God, as so many did before us).
How dare you insult the mother of our Christ, protestants? Do any of you even come close to her feet? No catholics believe Virgin Mary to be God or anything equivalent of that, BUT the most beautiful soul that existed on earth. So much that God favored her and picked her to be the Holy Spirit's partner on earth. The 10 commandments itself says to respect our parents. Virgin Mary was Jesus Christ's Mother on earth. And do you not think that the Christ not loved his Mother, just as God loved Virgin Mary as his daughter? Do you think he just decided to forsake her after she died and her soul and spirit no longer exists? We believe she still assists our Lord in everything he does.We have no doubt she is right up there with Jesus Christ by his side and still assisting him with all her love for our salvation. Do you not believe in angels? Do you not believe in heaven? Do you not believe in life after death? Stop your foolish attacks on the one who should be reverred and looked up to and focus on "unifying" your beliefs for once. NOT the distruction of unity in Christianity that you protestants always pursue, even among yourselves you are always fighting, who is right and wrong. Making up new cults, new teachings and theories. YOU FOOLS, and yet you cannot see that you are being instrument to the devil for his deeds- bringing division among believers and weakening our faith, beekering about what is right and wrong, when all you are doing is using the Bible words OUT OF TEXT to support your shallow teachings. Teaching of division. In effect you drive non believers away from Christianity. When those who believes in God, Jesus and the Bible, are all saying different things, why should they believe anything we say? All this bogus about new Spirituality, that there is no hell, everyone goes to heaven after they die... etc this is coming from the confusion you have released onto the world, Hey, whynot? diversity, right? BOGUS.
Stop insulting the Holy Catholic Church, WHO HAS MORE AUTHENTITY than any of you Protestant Churchs, and look at the evil within yourselves.

Faithfuls who goes to church where a pastor uses Catholic's love for Virgin Mary and the Saints as an excuse to deny the authentity of the Catholic Church should be aware that these pastors are evil. They are being used by the devil to bring division among believers of our Lord. Christianity is made of Catholics and Protestants. BOTH.
Protestants rebuked the Catholic church because of Yes, corruption in the Catholic church (AT THE TIME, Catholic Church has two thousand years of history, there WERE times when things smelled foul) and their OWN POLITICAL reasons. Martin Luther wrote a simple acclaimation about how it is wrong to accept money as penance for sins. etc. And the POLITICAL Party who were opposing the other POLITCAL party that had close ties to the church at the time, took this as an excuse to break away from the Catholic Church. It is a sad fact that our religion often gets USED for people's own POLITICAL and selfish interests and not God. That's why WARS have broken out in the name of God, when the truth is, PEOPLE, EVIL HUMAN BEINGS USED GOD, AND RELIGION FOR THEIR OWN POLITICAL, MONETARY INTERESTS throughout history.
AND this is how the Catholic Church and the Protestant church got divided into two. But there has always been criticism within Catholics about the current state of the Church BECAUSE we LOVE our church. IT's an INTERNAL constructive criticism because after all, despite our love for GOD, we are only human beings, and even the man of God can be wrong and be corrected.
Despite the arrogance of the Protestant church, Catholics accept the Protestants as our brotherens and accept them as Christians, as the important thing is the belief in God and salvation through Jesus Christ, NOT the formality.
I have experienced both the Catholic church and the Protestant Church and I stand strongly of the Catholic church, not because I believe the Protestants are wrong, they are not , as long as they believe in the Bible and what it teaches and uphold their belief in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, but I love the history and the devotion and the unity of faith in the Catholc Church. I find NOTHING, NOTHING of what the protestants claim to be wrong about the Catholic Church to hold right.
It is SUCH a shame how the Protestants are divided among themselves too. SO MANY different secs. What's wrong with you protestants. ALL you know is to criticize, divide and hate. Where are the teachings of God, to love and come together. Only time you know how to come together is when you want to crticize Catholics by telling lies. What a shame

I feel sorry for those who speaks ill of the Pope. Catholics believe in the union of the church across the world. This is what God wants, for all of us to come together to worship him. Pope is elected as leader to the church. And the Catholic church has considerable amount of money stored as testiment to our people's faith across the world TO BE USED for God's work, NOT for the pleasure of the Pope. If you have ever been close to a Catholic priest of a nun, you will know how humble their lives are. These are people, whose devotion to God is so great that they gave up their everything for our Lord. NOT like the Protestant priests who greed over their big houses, beautiful wifes and prosperity for their children.
Evil is prominent across the world and the Church is no exception. Catholic church and the Protestant church ALIKE. This is because priests, pastors are ONLY human beings who are prone to temptations. We are all weak. But it does not mean we should turn our backs to our church. It is foolish to throw away our establishments and beliefs in the house of God, because of few rotten fruits.

There are apparitions of the Virgin Mary appearing across the world (and to the atheists in this forum, this is an unrevokable FACT, do research first before rebuking thing that falls out of your arrogant comfort levels)- more frequent than in the other centuries. The Catholic Church takes a skeptic stance at these apparitions and many have proven to be evil spirits. These apparitions of Mary are in fact the devil, and we all know how clever and deception it can be, to appear in form of the most pure human being ever existed on earth, Virgin Mary, because it knows how loved she is, and can lure most naive people to believing its lies. But the Catholic Church has denied "almost" all of these apparitions, as they speak words that opposes the Holy Bible. But you have to keep in mind, the evil spirits not only appears in the form of Virgin Mary but many apparitions, in all religions, even as a Budda, Mohamid etc. These spirits are not to be dealt with as accepting them angers God. Psychics, mediums, spiritual guides etc, also are stated many times in the Bible, that associating with them angers God and are an abomination to our Lord.
Also those Protestants who speak of the reverred Virgin Mary and the Hold Catholic Church with insult should all be condemned for speaking false testiments. You should do some research before speaking of such lies. Catholics do not hold Virgin Mary in the same level as our Holy Trinity - God, Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ. She was never God, will never be God. But she is reverred, loved and praised for the wonderful "human being" that she was on earth. BUT she is above YOU, and ME. That, you should never deny -this is what the Catholics uphold. Catholic Church also believes in the communion of Saints, who strengthens our faith. And we want more people like this, as they are the ones who followed the steps of Jesus Christ, as we all should and lived lives God wants us to live. So the heaven on earth can occur. Saints are human beings, not God and ALL Catholics KNOW this. But we praise them and ask them for help as we do to Virgin Mary, as we know God has loved them and blessed them.
If someone was to tell you God loves everyone equally, they are lying. God has favored those with unwavering faith, pure heart and dedication, above people like you and me who struggle each day with our faith and talks insulting words to God like this on this forum.
God always listens to us when we pray in groups. That's why Catholic asks these Saints and Virgin Mary to pray WITH us and for us to God, so that our prayers could be answered, as know they were loved by God. And if you think they do not exist in heaven, READ YOUR BIBLE AGAIN. If you deny their existence you are denying heaven and life after death and therefore Jesus. God will listen to your prayers all the same, but He will take special care when the ones who have loved God so much to devote their lives to God prays with them. We uphold Virgin Mary for her courage to uphold faith that allowed God's will to happen upon this earth. She bowed her head low and endured the most painful lose of losing one's son, for faith and for God. While those of you hear insulting the Catholic Church and the Virgin Mary can't get yourselves to see the ground because you uphold your arrogant heads up high not to open your eyes to the truth. So, stop insulting the Catholics and the faithful and concentrate on your faith with God, or your lack of. |

Jake, I agree that the way that the way the catholic faith puts so much emphasis on Mary is very much like the pagan cult of Isis in Rome, I think though that Christianity was such a new thing in Rome and that it's ideas were so unique that they needed some kind of sameness, so they connected Mary with Isis. I belive that the goddesses you compared Mary to were all so similar to her beause during that time all of the religions were being combined, each taking ideas from the other. I too disagree with some of the positions of the cotholic church and believe that the bible is the only true word of God and that is what we should put all of out faith into, but the catholic religion is not bad or pagan. I think that the cult of Isis prepared the Romans to accept Christianity and it can be compared to Roman Cotholicism but it is not the origim of the religion. Love everyone, no matter what they believe. |

I pray for all of you, for speaking in ignorance and misleading people into your personal ignorance as well. You speaks of the Pope of being a thief, when the man selflessly travels the globe to help people and preach, as Peter and his successors . The Catholic Church was established by the Holy Spirit. Protestantism was started by Calvin (Calvinism was the first protestant movement). Jehovah’s Witnesses were founded by Charles Taze Russell. Man-influenced cults. Draw your own conclusions! God sent his only son, Jesus, King of all Kings to die for us and to deliver his Holy Spirit to fill his apostles and establish the church, not some people who manipulated Jesus' teachings to their own liking. Now, the Virgin Mary was appointed to have Jesus, by God's mercy, but she was NOT obligated. She was given a choice. You see, God loves us so much he respects free will. She agreed humbly to follow God's will, something we can all learn from. She's a role model for all women (and men) to follow because of her courage, humility and love of God. She is Jesus' first disciple, yet she kept her place according to the teachings. As far as praying to her, praying does not mean worship, get that right first. Now it clearly shows Mary's influence in the wedding at Canaa, when it wasn't Jesus' time to perform miracles. Mary interceded and yet his heart melted of deep love for his mother, that he listened to her. This does not show superiority of Mary over Jesus, but rather Jesus' example of humility and how powerful her intercession is. NO ONE was there more next to her Love than Mary. She stood next to the cross watching her loved Son suffer and die like a criminal. That is an unimaginably deep pain and sorrow in her heart to witness such a thing. She is the co-redemptrix because only she suffered the passion in her heart like Christ and next to Christ. Christ died for all of us and for love. He gave his mother to us, on the cross (also in the bible) "Mother, behold your son.....son, behold your mother". I pray for the bandages to be removed from your eyes people. As far as priests, Peter was the first Pope. "Peter, you are rock and upon this rock I will build my Church" We are all chosen to be disciples but God is perfect and he does things for a reason. The disciples were CHOSEN for a reason. As far as confession, you live in sin if you don't confess. This is something most people don't like because it's not comfortable (again, religion is arranged to fit the people, just like Calvin and Charles Taze Russell). If your hand does not tremble before God when you sin. IT SHOULD NOT TREMBLE AT THE HANDS OF REPRESENTATIVES OF GOD ON EARTH, which are priests. If you feel otherwise, you are a blasphemer then because you feel more shame for a HUMAN than for God. Jesus clearly said to his apostles that "Whatever is bound in earth, shall be bound in heaven and whatever is loose in earth shall be loose in heaven" This is what confession is about. Let your sins "loose in earth" so they are "loose in heaven". As far as priests goes also, their behavior (some, not all) has not been correct and we need to pray for them rather than judge. God is the only judge and you should not seek revenge or death to whoever harms you but rather that he/she change her ways and return to his Father. You cannot judge the Catholic faith because of some bad apples. This was a choice THEY followed, not the church. If Judas was a bad man, does this make the other disciples just as bad?? LET'S STOP BEING HIPPOCRATES! Whoever has eyes, read. Whoever has ears, listen. Whoever has a brain, use it. Whoever has the Holy Spirit, will find the way. Whoever finds Mary, finds Jesus. Whoever denies the Mother, denies the Son and is not worthy of the Son. I write not for my own glory but for God's glory and for the salvation of our souls. Amen. Pray for me too.

please stop the priests harm to the believer. A bad priest in Hong Kong use his bell to hit a 21 years old girl( who only has 7 years old intelligent) to have sex with him. This bad priest forced this innocent girl for many years. Is this what you call Catholic Religion? This is not the first case in here. Why are the Pope letting the priests to harm someone who is weak? What kind of education do the Vatican give to the priest? Why are they ( the priests) behave like an animal not like a normal human being? Why are they pretending to be good in front of the public but act the opposite ( non-human way) when they want to take full advantage from someone who is really weak and no power to refuse?

In asia we recieve no information at all about the bad priests. We only recieve one source of information by the churches - priests are all good and catholic religion is good.
After my children were abused, I search the bad priests information from the interent, just supprisingly found that the search engines full with bad priests stories..... How could this be? How could this be?
I brought my own children into the living hell - to believe in Catholic and the priests - and get them abused by the priests. What a bad mother me I? How stupid I was? I tried to kill myself so many time for what I has done to create the suffer for my children.....
I don't want the other innocent people do the same mistakes like me. It is a life suffer and regret as a mother!

I went to report to the church, my family were set up as Mad and liar family. Those church leaders used tricks to handle our family and make our family in a no end situation to complain them and to tell the public actually what happen to our children.
God is Fake and the priests are fake too.

The catholic church is a false religion. Why I say this? because Hail Mary was appointed to have a child and his name shall be Jesus. Mary is NOT the mediator. We do not pray to her ... sample...hail mary full of grace the Lord is with thee..... She died like us and is in her grave til judgement day. You do not call up the saints... because that is satanism... you do not call them up to help us. They are dead til judgement day. Just because a bishop, priest, sister terresa were buried and they stay whole as a phisical body... does not mean they are holy. some of them could have been child molesters. Who knows. Sister terresa use to say... no matter what god you believe in, just believe... she said that to many people that were dying. You dont light the candles for the dead because they are dead and waiting for the judgement. Once dead... thats it. The dead are not watching over us. they are dead. many years ago like 12th century... if you did not conform to the catholic ways... you are either hanged or burnt at the stake. The so called guilty person was labelled as a heritic. Look who talking. Catholism is false and the pope, priest, etc and deeply religious catholics are heritics. You do not go to the priest to confess your sins because he is in between himself and the father. That is blasfmy. I cannot spell but ya know what i mean. Catholism is false. false teaching, false, false, false, so you catholics... really reach down in your hearts and really really think about it ok? Catholic is false. Jesus said... Noone can get through to the Father but through me. Not hail mary... not the priest... direct line to Jesus is only a call away. Just directly go to Him for forgiveness.
