CLotriet perhaps the biggest FACT that was failed to be mentioned here is that atop the monument are the words, "LAUS DEO" which means in Latin, "PRAISE BE TO GOD!" . Separation of church and state are not in the constitution and were not practiced back when the monument was built. There are may prayers on the blocks inside the monument and a Bible placed within it! 3/16/2010
