Tasha I have both a lip and tongue piercing and my lip piercing took far longer to heal and hurt a whole lot more!
The day after I got my tongue done I was fine it didnt swell I never talked funny, and I didnt have to change the my diet at all and after 3 years I still havent downsized the barbell I guess I was lucky:) my lip is the one that has given me the most problems but still things dont go wrong that much as long as you get it done by someone who knows what there doing!		 8/10/2009

Trinsparkss i also have the bar in my ear =] had ma nose ( took it out ) ,my belly , i did the snake eyes on my tounqe recentley , my finqer =] nd my reqular ears ... an 1 on dha top corner .. also did my side burn , and wanna do my side hips =] 2/26/2009

linny i have 4 piercings in my lip, and my studs and rings NEVER got embedded in the wound. i think the skin only does that if it gets too infected. i dont know, just saying what happens to me 1/22/2009

I was soo scared because my lip is quite swollen and it was a bit sunken in the part on the inside of my mouth but now that I know tht that it normal I can finally ease my brain thanks a lot!		 1/19/2008
