nina did you realize that in this article it says corn snakes reach average length of 3-4 meters? That is close to 12 feet. That might concern people who don't know it's more likely 3-4 feet. 1/30/2011

Kirsty I've been begging my Mum and Dad for a snake (obviously a non-venomous snake that is bred in captivity). They say no but I keep begging anyway. I am very concerned with two questions: How to catch or buy food and if you can take the snake on a plane? 1/6/2011

Debbie I have had cottonmouths in our yard bcs we used to have a gorgeous eco-system within a 600 to 700 gallon pond/waterfall...foliage took a year to establish and we found a male then the 4.6 foot mother- she had babies who tried coing back. We filled in the pond and today I found a dead, cut apart corn snake from the page and my photos to identify it. THis was so helpful-as I have two very small dogs too. We also have an overflow/creek behind out house. Many Many snakes too many. thanks again 2/3/2009
chris i think you'v got the leght rong it would be about 9feet 6 inches long at 3 meters and 12 feet 6 inches long at 4 meters and the biggest corn snake on record is onley 6 feet something plz can you chang your dater on this 1/14/2009
