P.S.T.T.T During the 50’s and 60’s, before tattoos had received the mainstream acceptance that they receive today, wrist tattoos were closely associated with the gay and lesbian community. Even though times have changed, it is very important to take note of this fact before you go ahead and get a wrist tattoo for yourself. You don’t want any misconceptions about your sexual preferences do you?

I find your ignorance in this comment to be completely unnecessary. I do not care to read about your narrow minded perception of humanity in an article about wrist tattoos. Please Stick To The Topic.

Aileen I'm sorry- I lost track of the content of this piece, having had to navigate so many crassly 'feminine' assumptions & stereotypes.
...The writer's cautionary note re ink encircling the wrist? ..immoderate, inappropriate & easily-construed as 'exclusive'...'however 'handy-hints-helpful' the intention was. This is century 21.

Michael "Hopping on the bandwagon" is probably the worst single reason to get a tattoo. Some good points, but really? "Hop on the bandwagon"? 9/10/2010

This is one of your comments on wrist tattoos, but it's interesting considering I have never ever met someone who associates wrist tattoos with gays and lesbians... That is wrong.

All your other information is OK. But That was a bit over the top.

Stefy I've got the Eye of Horus on the inside of my right wrist . Does it have any prticular meaning put there? I put it there so I could see it and everybody else but I could also hide it. It didn't hurt at all, actually it tickled. 10/5/2009
