Jeannie Camp	This is a letter that I sent to the Child Support Division and other sources to see what kind of assistance we could get to help my 2 grandson’s for Christmas. My daughter is without financial support and is struggling to take care of her son’s as a single parent. Their dad is supposed to pay child support but wants to give up his parental rights so he doesn’t have to pay it.. If you could please let me know where I can go or my daughter to get help for Christmas. My grandson’s are 4 and 5. I am a concerned grandparent and I was just wondering what the consequences are for a sperm donor to try to give up his parental rights so that he doesn’t have to pay child support? His comment to me was that he is doing it only because he doesn’t want to pay child support and that it is taking money out of his pocket because he can’t afford to pay his rent. He is with the 3rd woman with another girl who had his son and brags about going out to dinner, shopping for new shoes and eating sushi, but he can’t’ afford to pay his child support. My daughter is struggling to take care of her 2 boys and doesn’t ask him for anything, but for him to spend time with his boys. They love their dad something awful and I told him it just breaks my heart to hear that he wants to do this because he is listening to this other woman. I feel for my grandson’s because I know they are not going to have a Christmas this year because my daughter is trying to find a job and attend college, and has no income. She has an associate’s degree as a Dental Assistant but just can’t seem to find a job. I told her to just keep praying and have Faith. imbunky2	Oops, I forgot to add, at ANY age, children prefer to have items personalizized with their names on them. You may do this with pencils/pens, clothing, paper goods (i.e. notebooks), an ornament... Also there is NO comparison to a Christmas spent doing things with family. My advice is to make or bake something together. Santa's gifts will be forgotten, but your memories will make an impression forever! Note: I always take two photos of a special project . One for the child to hold and show and one to keep safe for later in the child's life. I also set a camera out on Christmas Eve for Santa to take pictures of the Christmas presents before the children come down stairs. I buy the cheap one-step cameras at the discount stores for $4. OMG! I forgot to mention, Santa NEVER wrapped his gifts at my house. The children would know right away which gifts were from Santa and which were from us. I'm SURE it saved him a LOT of money!	10/17/2010
imbunky2	HELP FOR MANY LOW INCOME, ALTHOUGH I WISH I COULD HELP YOU ALL FINANCIALLY. The younger your children the less gifts and money you will need to provide them with a very happy Christmas. A 1 or 2 yr old child is basically happy unwrapping a gift. You may want to give that child 1-2 necessities (and maybe a toy, if there are no relatives). 3-5 yr olds are more interested in the hoopla that surrounds the holidays, give 5-6 items total. 6-15 yr olds. like the hoopla but have gigantic wish lists. Vunzetta T. christina	hi my name is christina sampson and i am a mother of a low income family i have 4 kids. 3 fulltime and my oldest daughter comes down when school is out, she lives with her dad. and you would think that there were a lot of help out there but, in some towens theres not i had to move 2 weeks ago and what money i thought i had for my kids went and is going to rent and the rest of my bills. last year i singed up for the christmas tree here in ada oklahoma, and was hoping to get somthing for all my kids but i did not. my oldest did not get anything becuse she did not live with me just viseted and my 2nd oldest who was 6 at the time did not get anything becuse it got lost. my youngest two got a toy each. when i went back there becuse i did find a card with my oldest childs name on it i saw theme walking out with bikes, and bags and bags of stuff and was told it was for there families.do you have any idea how bad i felt that i had nothing for my kids to open up for christmas... and it is going to be the same this year, i have been looking for help but to lats iam sorry to say becuse i did not plane on moving. so where can you get help if there is none? but if you or anyone knows anywhere please let me know. or wk# is 580-436-9900 my name is christina and i work m,t,th 3-11 and on sat 7-1 and sunday 7-3 please anything would help us out..	12/1/2008

Melinda Bozarth	My name is Melinda Bozarth I live in my fathers basement with my 2 children at 3315 virginia st, Columbus, IN 47203. In March this year my younger sister died of a drug over dose and every since I have lost my home and everthing else I'm fileing for disability but have no way to get my daughter anthing for her 14th birthday on August 27th and no way to get her or my 3 year old son anything for christmas.
