SM Last season it was really hard to lit my pilot light, but after a couple of days trying, I got it. This season I've tried and tried. I'm not sure if the pilot light is getting enough gas or the knob that I have to turn to keep the pilot light lit is the problem. 11/13/2010
Edward Peres What do I need to run the gas line to the fireplace and what are the outlets at the fireplace? Thank 8/27/2010
Levy I have a Vent Free Log Set. I'm experiencing a large amount of Carbon monoxide within the room. My Set does not have a Oxygen Depletion Sensor. Can this be the cause of my problem. 3/4/2009
Doug A couple of factual errors. 1. All vent free fireplaces sold in the US in 2008 must have an oxygen depletion sensor as part of the pilot. 2. Vented gas logs must have a chimney or be installed in direct vent fireplaces. The logs in vent free or ventless fireplaces are decorative only, the flames do not actually touch the logs, or come out of the logs. The logs are placed so that it looks like the fame comes out of it. Installing a carbon monxide detector nearby is a very good idea with any fireplace 11/2/2008
