Bruce Kershaw The O2 of CO2 is the O2 from the atmosphere that allowed the carbon based fuel to burn, then plants and trees absorb the carbon from the oxygen, the oxygen is always recycled back in to the atmosphere, what causes oxygen levels to drop is increasing nitrogen levels. One day the atmosphere will be all nitrogen, with a very small % of oxygen, it will be the same amount of or more oxygen, but it will be a smaller % of the atmosphere, from large increases in nitrogen. 7/19/2010
