Bob Miller I'm service connected disabled veteran retired from the army,and i recive my benfit/compensation through the VA. can i draw compensation from the army also? I was wounded during a combat training excersize,its not combat related. I was given a military ID marked indefinate experation and i use military hospitals...Can i recieve compensation from the army and VA at the same time? 10/1/2009

DaveK I started receiving my military retirement (as a retired Reservist) at age 60 and now that I am approaching 65, medicare insurance programs are in the mail daily. I am of the belief that I could elect to to go to tri-care for medical coverage and would have no need for medicare supplemental insurances. Is my thinking correct? 3/17/2009
Carola Eastman I am the ex-spouse for a retired airforce man and I receive a percentage of that retirement. I was under the impression that i loose this retirement when/if my ex husband dies....is that true...or is this retirement mine to keep for the rest of my life....

Judith Ely I need help. I put in a change of banks on December 5th. I checked today and the deposit for this month has not been made. How do I get a live body to find out what is happening? 3/1/2008
Ruth J. Petracc This article did not address the GPO and if Military Pensions are affected by it. Will the 2/3 deduction apply to a person retiring from the Military who can draw SS? 12/14/2007
