Liz B. I can not tolerate caffeine unless I continuously eat after drinking caffinated beverages. I am 5'6" and 130, so instead of making my body feel uncomfortable and drinking caffeine, I simply refrain as much as possible or drink de-caffinated (still has some caffeine in it though :)) 10/16/2009
Liz B. I have been a nurse for 7 years and am currently back in school to further my nursing education. Although I have never officially researched this topic, I knew that caffeine adversely affected my blood suger causing hypoglycemia (I am not a diabetic). Everyone I have told, including nurses and nursing instructors had never heard about caffeine plummiting levels, It's nice to read that my suspician was correct. Thanks! 10/16/2009
